I have heard about how pretty the cherry blossoms are in the spring located at the Utah State Capitol and so glad I went at the right time! It looks like generally the first two weeks of April you can see the blooms at their best. On the Capitol IG they do a great job of updating the progress of how they are coming along.
I loved that parking is free and easy! I actually found parking right away on the street but it looks like there are a couple of lots as well for the public. I am not the best at directions so if it was easy for me, then it really says something!
I went early in the morning and decided to wear an outfit that would work while it was cooler and transition if it warmed up. This dress was from Costco of all places for $10! I found it on a whim on my last grocery shopping trip. I found one similar here.
there were quite a few people out for it being so early taking photos with the blooms or doing graduation shots, etc. It truly is something to see! I kept this sweater on for the most part as it stayed fairly chilly ( but bearable). Linking the knit sweater here.
if you get a chance to visit the Capitol in the April definitely take advantage! Have a great weekend!
