Happy snow day! We have had a few snow days now and I am thrilled! I wanted to share a few tips on styling winter wear in a cute way and ensure you stay warm!
First, I am not a huge fan of print, I like to stay with solids and bring interest through texture and layering colors within the same color pallet. In the above photos, I stayed pretty neutral but gave a pop of color with the green furry beanie. ( Find similar ones here)
When it comes to winter footwear I like black, camel, or for this season, white. The booties I am wearing have a little bit of a heel but nothing too high that would hurt your feet after walking a bit. (Find similar ones here)
How to start the layering process: I like to start with a non constricting sweater (the more layers you add the more constricting and bulky it can get). Layer with a peacoat and depending on how thick the coat is, I’ll choose a thinner or thicker scarf. The worst feeling is wearing a scarf over your layers that feels like a neck brace. I choose the beanie color based off of the rest of the outfit and if I want color or want to keep it all neutral.
Lastly, and this is just for fun, I added my fav clip in extensions. FOR $20 off your own set, use code, “TEAMGABIEV” here to shop. I wear the color “Sunset” in 18 inches!
