Master Your Home Hair Blowout

I love the feeling of having clean, freshly blown out hair from the salon, who doesn’t? It always seems to last longer, there is more bounce, and the hair smells so good. I am going to show you how to recreate the look of a salon blow out from home (from a hairstylist here). If you want to just go down to the “how to” video, scroll down a bit below.

I have been loving using Moroccanoil shampoo and the hydrating hair mask, followed by applying Olaplex number 6 and 7 on towel dried hair . I have highlighted and color treated hair so these products have seriously improved the health of it. While we are on this stay at home order in Hawaii, I am leaving my Moroccanoil hair mask in my hair over night once a week for max benefits. All I have to say is wow, it leave my hair feeling so silky when I rinse it out the next morning. My blonde is very light, so to keep yellow tones from creeping in, I use Joico Blonde Life Brilliant Tone Violet Smoothing Foam. A little goes a long way with the violet foam, but it is a soft, beautiful hue for light blondes.

The main game changer in the home blowout would have to be the Olivia Garden Multibrush detachable handle and brush set . After round brushing, you can easily detach the handle from the brush, leaving it in to set and get max volume and shape. This is also great because as you work down the head you are changing brush sizes with ease. You will seriously be impressed with your blow out work after! To refresh it the next day just use dry shampoo and you are good to go! (all products linked)

In this tutorial I towel dried my hair and started free hand blow drying my hair to get about 60 percent of the moisture out first. This helps when you go to start smoothing (it will save your arms from a complete work out). If you watch with the sound on, you can hear a step by step explanation if you feel lost.

I am excited to share with you all that I have been accepted to be apart of Like To Know It! What does this mean for you? Have you ever watched a tutorial and either lost track of what the person was using, or didn’t know where to find a product they recommended? This lets me put everything in one place. You just screen shot a photo of a photo I posted, or look me up “gabievossler.” Click on the image you want to shop, and it shows you all the products I used. Once you click on a product it, you are taken to the website to purchase it for yourself! So much easier and fun, I have found some great bloggers on their and been inspired when I was in a fashion rut.

Thanks for following along and I truly hope you give this a try! It is life changing if you struggle with blowing out your own hair. Let me know if you try it in the comments and tag me in your glam home blowout pics on Insta! I do receive a little commission from products linked so thanks for your support!
