2015 Hair Trends and How To Steps

2015 is here and it is all about effortless looking styles and braids! This is great because most of us like to hit the snooze button in the morning and get some extra sleep. There are easier ways to get the effortless looking styles we see on the red carpet without spending an hour or even a half hour in the morning on our hair!
  • Waves:Β  Curling your hair doesn’t need to be a stressful affair. Try picking up one inch random one inch sections starting at the top of your crown and curl away from your face horizontally. Vertically twisting the curling iron or wand will give you a spiral curl that isn’t really trendy right now. As you are curling, leave the ends of your hair out by about an inch. After your hair is curled, run your fingers through your hair gently, spray with a sea salt spray or light hold hairspray and you are done! How easy is that!
  • Braids: Another cute and fast style in the morning can be achieved with a cute side braid done on second or third day unwashed hair. Yes, you do not need to wash your hair every day. In fact, if you have colored hair it will help your color stay in longer if you wait between shampoos.Β  Start by sectioning off your hair over your ear on either side. Begin your French braid loosely over the ear and direct in back. Braid all the way down until there is no more hair left. Pin the hair crossing it on the back of your head. You can choose to do the other side of your head or just leave one side done.
  • Side Messy Bun: On Second or third day hair, back comb the crown of your hair with a boars bristle brush or comb to gather volume. Gather hair other to one side leaving some loose pieces by your face out for framing. Twist and pin the gathered hair into a bun shape until it is secured onto the head. Hairspray and add a headband !
